Worship the Lord was recorded in 1986, the first recording made by the Pasadena Tabernacle Songsters. This album was released prior to the Songsters tour of the southern territory of the United States of America.

This recording includes well known Salvation Army compositions with brass and synth accompaniement, along with the introduction of some songs like "The Majesty and Glory of Your Name".

Worship the Lord, originally only available in cassette format, was re-released in 1994 as a CD, with two additional tracks recorded live in Canada.
